Join us for our first ever Maiden Madness tournament!! We have chosen 33 animated heroines from Walt Disney Animations and a few from Pixar Animation for extra flavor.
This March Madness style tournament will help us find out who wears the crown as we put each character and story to the test. Katie and India analyze not only the character herself but the crafting of progressive female storytelling in each movie with a specially crafted rubric.
Patrons can help move along their picks by voting between Feb. 8th and Feb. 19th for the first round choices and awarding a bonus point to the deciding scores.
Disney and Pixar have so many amazing characters. To narrow our list we kept to human and humanoid female protagonists from animated feature films that were not introduced in sequels.
